Now that the storm is over, that the revolution fire has been cooled down, let's reconsider the situation. Democracy, freedom of speech, of religion, of whatever, all seem to be fine, right? but then?
Then comes the real stuff, the real action, baby! People of Tunisia, excuse me but you're in deep shit, you're doomed and screwed! You seem not aware of it but in few months you'll eventually get it.

To keep it short and simple, you have 2 obvious options on who's the next leader of the country (and I dare anyone to bring another solid candidate):

- Rached Ghannouchi and his Nahdha gang, the islamists who'll make your life worse than hell once they get empowered enough to claim what they really intended to,since ever. And spare me the moderate bla bla bla  crap, they're preaching what they'll never do! ( e.g.

- Kamel Morjane and his RCD fellows, the "force" who'll make you pay for kicking a dictator and willingly voting for a new one, under a new name, a new frame and with some sort of improvement. They've money, structure and support ( from the USA and EU), they'll not let down what they always had. (e.g. http://bit.ly/fUSe00 )

In all cases, it's up to you to choose which one you'd rather get trapped by... I am really sorry: RIP Revolution, RIP martyres, RIP Tunisian Dream, RIP Tunisia!

I don't see what makes you think AHmed Nejib Chebbi is less present than Morjane, but agree on the fact, that all we have now are worse and worser candidates. Wether the dream is over, I keep telling myself it isn't. We do need someone new, someone different from all these old fashioned stubborn grandpas. A woman ?

Chebbi might have some chance but he'll never win, the "others" have much power and can push him out of the race easily and he doesn"t seem as a fierce fighter...
A woman, yes, why not? but who? Ben Sedrine? mmm, debatable...Otherwise I'll run myself for president if it's just what it takes :p

6 months is a very very long time in political standards. Many things could happen in 6 months. New faces, new parties, new ideas... The game (the political game) is not over yet, it just started. And since there are not statistics or opinion polls, yet, let's not overestimate some parties over others... Al lwe we have now is just speculation. Wait and see.

Hussein,I am personally convinced that both Ennahdha and RCD (or whatever it's gonna be renamed) will stick around for a long long while. They do have strong basis & support, none can deny that.
    Plus:
1- any guarantee,a real one, that in 6 months, things will change, will we have a new constitution and election code by then?
2- will the 6 months deadline be respected? the commissions might ask for extension due to the heavy load of work ( bla bla bla)

Nothing granted in this game but we'll wait and we'll definelty see ;)
